Point Fermin resident of San Pedro, Michael Phillips, is an established writer of poetry and short story fiction, published amid various genres by small press publications and literary magazines worldwide. Also a talented artist of photography, watercolor painting and pen & ink, we are excited to introduce an impressive body of his work into this show as a first time exhibitor. As a writer of very human situations, he is able to incorporate the same element of wit and humanity into his intricate pen and ink drawings. He will be displaying 6-10 small pieces incorporating words, humor, irony, sarcasm and primitive imagery, as well as displaying some prose specifically written for this event.
