Native to Los Angeles, Steve Irvin is known for his primal and often physically intense durational actions using his body and environment to create dynamic sound-scapes. An accomplished performance artist and painter, he has exhibited his innovations throughout Southern California at Watts Towers Cultural Center, Crazy Space, Highways, cherrydelosreyes, Track 16, and has performed with notable artist such as Anne Bray, Lauren Hartman, Curt LeMieux, Kat Scraba and Mark Steven Greenfield. Steve earned his BFA at Stanford and an MFA at those fancy Claremont Colleges.
