Elizabeth Hoffman ![]() Elizabeth Hoffman hails from Pennsylvania and also lived in Los Angeles for the greater part of her career. She received her BFA from the Maryland Institute College of Art and is now known for her sewn and mixed media innovations that combine found materials, textiles and gloves, creating soft sculptures of independent personalities. Elizabeth’s work sometimes focuses on the perceptions of relationships that act as childhood puzzles, and speak an underlying language without sacrificing the innocence and humor her pieces portray. Her work has been reviewed by art critic, Peter Frank, and has exhibited at such places as Michael Kohn Gallery, New Image, Kantor, La Luz de Jesus, and Gallery 825 at Bergamot Station in Santa Monica.
