Art director for Girl and Chocolate Skateboards, Andy Jenkins also publishes and produces amazing illustrations and paintings. Landing a job as an editor at the legendary Wizard Publications while on the skateboard scene in the early 1980's, he later began co-development of several youth culture magazines including: Homeboy and Dirt Magazine. He also illustrated the Wrench Pilot comic for Transworld Skateboarding under the pseudonym Mel Bend, and continues to publish zines under Bend Press. Both a writer and an artist, Andy has been published amongst a vast number of international publications and presses. He is a long-time resident of San Pedro where he lives with his wife Kelly and their son Emmet.
