Originally from Santa Monica, Carol is now a dedicated painter living and working in San Pedro, Ca. Her artwork is mainly psychological and focuses on dysfunction and discovery. Using oil paint over paper collage and a scratch technique called sgraffito - where colors from underneath the painted surface are revealed by scratching through the paint - she also incorporates garment patterns, hand-stitching them directly onto the paintings.
Carol has exhibited locally and nationally, producing over 450 tangible pieces of art. She continues to organize exhibitions and she works meticulously in her studio. Her artwork is collected by both serious collectors and loyal admirers.
